Driving to the restaurant in Cambrils

This drive to the restaurant in Spain was the subject of a chapter towards the end of the book. It was a collision of the past and the present, the point where waiting wasn’t possible anymore and the situation had to be resolved. It charts a meeting that was entirely fictional, none of it biographical, but it has been under the editorial knife. The original novel is becoming more and more emotionally depleted. Is it worth finishing now? Big decisions, though not finishing isn’t really an option.

I could take the ‘steamy’ sections, stitch them together as a novella and self publish. Or a romantasy, the market for that genre is huge. More money to be made from it and less oversight on content. I’m starting a draft for that and will try out excerpts here.
